Opal Pauly

Opal is a brilliant 5-year-old kindergartener who, unfortunately, has a Chiari Malformation, that has now presented with a syrinx creating a need for surgery*. We are raising money to help cover the out-of-pocket max for her medical bills, doctors, and the time her mother will need to take off work unpaid.

*The surgery will be on February 26th.  There is a syrinx present--which is spinal fluid backed up inside of the spinal cord.  Opal has no symptoms at this point, but if left untreated she will.

Recovery will take 3 months of no activity and avoiding all ailments as much as possible. Please understand if we limit visitors during this critical time.
